Biography
Dr Thomas Sullivan is one of the founding partners of ALL Pediatrics. Born in Newark, New Jersey, he attended Seton Hall University for his undergraduate years and went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed his internship at Walter Reed General Hospital, and his residency training at Babies Hospital Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Sullivan is an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at George Washington University, and is Past President of the Virginia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Sullivan has been recognized on numerous occasions by Washingtonian Magazine as one of the Washington metro area’s “Top Doctors”. He is currently involved in several pilot projects for clinical excellence with the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Bright Futures initiative, the Virginia State Pediatric Research in the Office Setting (PROS), and most recently the Medical Home project for children with special needs and chronic illness.
Dr. Sullivan continues to devote much of his time to working with children with Attention Deficit Disorder, and serves as a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on ADHD.
Dr. Thomas Sullivan is the proud father of five children, one of whom, Dr. Brendan Sullivan, joined him in practice at Alexandria & Lake Ridge Pediatrics in 2000. His personal time is spent with his family, camping, fishing, and gardening.
